Pictures and everything else in between

Here are a few pictures from the last month.

It was a ways of a drive to church from Riverside to West Covina so what do you do? Take pictues! Katryna in the back.

So this morning, I woke up late so didn't do any exercise. Somehow when I wake up late it doesn't motivate me to stay on track, sigh. Also, I didn't even feel like having breakfast. Maybe I'm still not having a bit of an appetite as with this cold too. Anyway, I should just take it slow, again.

So I went online to continue my study of photography with The Pioneer Woman . I'm so ecstatic that I have found her via the web. You know know how long I have bought my digital SLR camera and not know how to use it other than the AUTO button. Also reading the manual is way over my head as I don't even know what the words mean. Anyway, Ree is her name and she just explain it in layman's word, yeah plain to the T:) Check her website out. You'll be thankful if you are in a rut with your camera like I was. She also has a cookbook that is just out this month filled with mouth watering recipes and wonderful pictures. I would love to get it but with limited luggage space I'll just have to have a long day at Barnes & Noble savoring the pages while sipping my coffee.

I know it's not the right month to be going to the beach but we have a wonderful couple at church who's letting us stay at their beach condo. We are at Solano beach about 20 miles before San Diego. We are taking the advantage of it as it's a little getaway for us to spend more time with family. This time my family (my mom, sister, bil and dog Rosie) will be coming down from Tulare, California to stay with us for the last three days. I can't wait for them to come on Wednesday!

I hope you get to feeling better! I have wanted to try Ethiopian food for a long while, how was it?

And thanks for the info about the Pioneer Woman's camera help! My husband wants one badly, but I'm unwilling to spend the money if all I know how to do is point and click!

Thanks, Kalee! Ethiopian food is almost like Indian but more on the mild side. It took me awhile to like the injera bread as it was too fermented for me. Now I love it! Can't enough of it. Unfortunetly, the two restaurants in W D.C. wasn't as good though:(

I'm glad you found that Pionee Woman is informative:) Love her!
